What are your thoughts on the quality of teenage literature these days? I'm not sure if you have much of an opinion on the subject, since you most likely don't enter the teenage section of a book store, but books like Twilight have spawned a great tidal wave of similar readings. Most which have the same exact plot line, just slightly different characters. And of course teenage girls eat it up like they do everything else that's complete and utter ridiculousness

My hope is that the teens who pick up those junk books might develop an interest in better books later on in life. But, as George Carlin often said: “Fuck hope.”
