Defying belief.

Perhaps I am. But my experience has been that every feminist I’ve ever spoken to has wanted me to make concessions that I’m uncomfortable with. Though, honestly, at the end of the day, I don’t think you’ll ever get me to identify with an ideological group. I probably wouldn’t even identify as an atheist at this point if it weren’t in my name. Others can identify me as such if they want—and this is fair, since I don’t believe in God—but the word itself no longer does much for me. The only label I still proudly flaunt is skeptic.
